80th Oscar Nominees Predictions

Well, tomorrow is the big day when the nominees are announed! I'm siked! This year has been the hardest year ever. With the history and my gut feeling's here are my predictons for tomorrow.

Best Picture
-Atonement
-Into the Wild
-Juno
-No Country for Old Men
-Michael Clayton

I would love to see Sweeney Todd in there. But with history and with my feelings i dont think so. Atonement won the globe and many people are talking about it and it has all the stuff in it to be nominated. Into the Wild looks like a lock because of the academy likes Sean Penn and it got magnificent reviews. Juno is probably gonna its this year Little Miss Sunshine and with it's box-office hit and it's reviews it's gonna be there. No country is a lock. And Michael Clayton was loved by critics and with its strong performances it will be in there.

Best Director
-There will be blood
-Atonement
-The Diving bell and the butterfly]
-No Country for old men
- Into the wild

Would love to see Tim Burton in there because he deserves it all the way.

Best Actor
-George Clooney (Michael Clayton)
-Johnny Depp (Sweeney Todd)
-Daniel Day-Lewis (There will be blood)
-Viggo Mortension (Eastern Promises)
-Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild)

Daniel Day-Lewis is gonna win which is a shame because Depp deserves it all the way!!! It's pretty easy to guess Clooney, Lewis, are locks but Depp is a favorite and Viggo got good reviews and the last slot should go to Hirsch because if Into the WIld does good he'll get nominated

Best Actress
-Julie Christy (Away for Her)
-Amy Adams (Enchanted)
-Ellen Page (Juno)
-Marie Cotillard (La Ve In Rose)
-Angelina Jolie (A Mighty Heart)

Tough but this is going to Julie Christy probably which she already won so give it to Ellen Page who deserves it! I have a gut feeling Amy Adams will get nominated, And then Jolie was raved by critics and so was Marie

Best Supporting Actor
-Casey Affleck '' "
-Hal Halbrook (Into the WIld)
-Javier Bardem (No Country for Old men)
-Tom Wilkson (Michael Clayton)
-Phillip Seymour Hoffan (Charlie Wilson's War)

This one is a lock to Javier. Affleck is a lock as is Tom for their rave reviews. Hal is 83 and you know the academy loves old people (Last year's shame Alan Arkin not EDDIE MURPHY) And the last slot is Seymour because he is loved by the academy. I would love to see John Travolta.

Best Supprorting Actress
-Cate Blanchett (Im Not There)
-Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone)
-Vensesa Redgrave (Atonement)
-Ruby Dee (American Gangster)
?

I'm not totally sure but Blanchett won the globe and won before but i hope Amy Ryan was FANTASTIC as her role and i hope it's her. Then there's Venessa Redgrave in the 2 hour movie for 6 minutes they love that so her and Ruby Dee who also was in there for 6 minutes. Ugh! I hope the little Briony Soiarse gets nominated and wins because she was really good but i doubt it. I would also like to see julia Roberts in their too.

Best Animated Feature
-Perposials
-Ratatouille
-The Simpsons movie

Hope Bee Movie takes over the p one but everyone's loving it so yeah. Hope this is another flop animated year like last's year.

Ask me about other techonccal nominees
come back next month for my prediictions
Hope the show will go on!

2nd BRANDON Oscars

Here is my list of what would be nominated for the Oscars if i actually was in the Academy...

Best Picture
-Atonement
-Charlie Wilson's War
-Juno
-Sweeney Todd
-Hairspray

AND THE WINNER IS... Juno
My two top movies of 2007 are on here but Juno was amazing. It was funny and smart. It was great and i think it deserves to win. And it has a spirtit in it that is Best Picture worthy. Even though Sweeney Todd and Hairspray are UNBELIVABLE. Juno is Best Picture worthy.

Best Director
-Tim Burton...Sweeney Todd
-Joe Wright...Atonement
-Jason Reitman...Juno
-Adam Shankman...Hairspray
-Denzel Washington...The Great Debaters

AND THE WINNER IS...Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd)
He was perfect to direct this. It was a hard movie to direct and he made it over the top. Without him this movie wouldn't be what it is. This movie was one of my favorites and i know it will always be!

Best Actress
-Helena Boham Carter...Sweeney Todd
-Ellen Page...Juno
-Cate Blanchett... Elizabeth: The Golden Age
-Amy Adams...Enchanted
-Nikki Blonsky...Hairspray

AND THE WINNER IS...Ellen Page(Juno)
I almost made it a tie with her and Carter from Sweney Todd because Carter stole the show for me with her songs and her acting. But Ellen Page beat her out with a nudge. She was born to play that role. She brought it to the top. She was AMAZING. I cant explain it because it was a gut feeling when it was over and i remembered her in this. But Ellen Page was a lock ever since the day i saw the trailer. This movie belongs to her. If it wins Best Picture she should take it home.

Best Actor
-Tom Hanks...Charlie Wilson's War
-Johnny Depp...Sweeney Todd
-Michael Cera...Juno
-Steve Carrel...Dan in Real Life
-James McAvory...Atonement

AND THE WINNER IS...Johnny Depp(Sweeney Todd)
He was a lock for the winner. His voice was amazing. The whole movie he was his character. He went over the top for his character. He was UNBELIVABLE and with all the veterens in the REAL race he should have his chance in the awards. He was this movie and i will remember his acting in this forever and ever!

Best Supporting Actress
-Julia Roberts...Charlie Wilson's Wars
-Michelle Pheiffer...Hairspray
-Jennifer Garner...Juno
-Saoirse Ronan...Atonement
-Leslie Mann...Knocked Up

AND THE WINNER IS...Saoirse Ronan(Atonement)
This is a little girl who is probably 13 and she is wonderful in this movie. Her acting is unbelivable and she is perfect as the role. She plays the role as an adult and i think she will be a famous actress one day! But this movie was great! And she was over the top!

Best Supporting Actor
-Phillip Seymour Hoffan...Charlie Wilson's War
-Edward Sanders...Sweeney Todd
-Alan Rickman...Sweeney Todd
-James Mardsen...Enchanted
-Paul Rudd...Knocked Up

AND THE WINNER IS...Edward Sanders(Sweeney Todd)
I think this year the supporting catergories goes to the little ones. This little kid is amazing! He has a good voice and he goes overboard as the helper in Sweeney Todd. I think Alan Rickman was next in line but for a little kid in this movie as the character is just amazing.

Best Animated Feature
-Bee Movie
-Ratatouille
-The Simpsons Movie

AND THE WINNER IS...Ratatouille
A lock. This was unbelivable. The was creative and the animation was great. Irt had such a story. It was great and nothing could beat it. The best animated feature i've ever seen.

29. Meet The Robinsons
30. The Water Horse: The Legend of the Deep

WOW! That was so tough! All of those movies were amazing. I think this was THE BEST YEAR because of all the AMAZING movies. I was so happy. I don't want you to think that because some of these movies are close to the end you shouldn't see them. But you need to see all of these. Print this out and see everyone of these. A lot of these are oscar contenders. Whoa! 2008 you better get cranking if you want to beat out this year of movies. I don't want to make the worst movies of 2007 because thats rude to say this was a horrible movie because you think you could do better? Think about these actors and actresses who try to make a great movie and you say IT SUCKED. Shame on you if you said blah blah blah was the worst movie of the year.

Brandon
The best crtic around!

Top Movies of December 2007

WOW! WOW! The whole list of movies is on my top movies of 2007. Walk Hard didn't make the cut but that would've been next. THE BEST MONTH OF MOVIES THIS YEAR.

Brandon

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

A spoof on a musical bio! It was funny and you
know what better than the Scary Movies. John C. Reily
stars as Dewey Cox. Kills his brother by cutting him in
half when little his father says "the wrong kid died"
he becomes a Musical Star. It was very funny. The jokes
are so funny. And it was really creative. And the music
was really nice. It was good music. John C. Reily was so
funny as this role. This is a fun movie. If your looking
for a entertaining stupid comedy. This should be first on your
list. It's worth checking it out.
3 and a half stars

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

ANOTHER ADVENTURE! THE MOST FUN I'VE HAD
IN A MOVIE! Nicholos Cage is back in this
adventure sequel. He wants to clear his family's
name after he finds out that his father might of
been a part of the Abe Lincoln murdeer. He must
kidnapp the president to see the book of secrets.
I loved this movie. It was a lot of fun and very
interesting. It's for everyone! It's such a good
movie. I was afraid it would be one of those bad
sequels but it was amazing. It helt my attention and it
will definetly be in the top ten of 2007 and the decade.
When i get older i will see this with my children and
pass it on one of the best adventure movies of my life!
