Resurrecting the Champ

Based on a true story Josh Hartnett
portrays the part of a sports reporter.
When one night he finds an old man
(Samuel L Jackson)homeless living
on the street he finds out that he is
an old boxing champ Bob Satterfield
that everyone thought he was dead. He begins
writting an article about him which his editor
(Alan Alda) thinks he cannot cut as a writter.
Things go wrong and all he wants to do is make
his son feel pround. A great performance by Samuel
L. Jackson he deserves a nod. A very touching movie.
The stuff with his son was a little over the top and very
mushy. Its a great movie that a lot of people should
check out. Teri Hatcher was great and i liked her part.

The Nanny Diaries

Scarlett Johansson stars as Annie a new
nanny. One she comes to New York and
she doesn't know who she is or what she
wants to do. After saving a kids life the
mom (Laura Liney) hires her as her nanny
But little does she knows she's the boss
from hell. While the husband Mr. X (Paul
Gimatti) is having an affair and is a terrible
father. it was Fantastic. It was funny and enchanting.
it was so well done and is one of the years best.
It reminded me of The Devil Wears Prada and if
you look closely the grandma on the beach is
reading the book. It was a beautiful movie.
Scarlett J is becoming a great actress and her
cemistry with the guy upstairs Havard Hottie
(Chris Evans) is great. Strongly recommend it.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

Bean is back! Rowan Atkinson stars as Mr.
Bean again. And let me say this is a really good
movie. After winning a free trip Bean runs into
trouble. When he makes a Romanian director
miss his train little does he know that his son
is on the train. He helps the kid get back to his
papa on the way he get's mistaken for a kidnapper.
It is the stupidist movie i have ever seen. But it has
a great story to it. It is funny and kept me entertain.
i don't think kids will enjoy that much if they are under
10. I think some will but not many. i loved it. He's very
creepy which made it even funnier.

The Invasion

Nicole stars as a mom trying to save
her son from "mutes" When something from
space lands everything is changing. They
think it's a bad flu going around. Once they
find out that husbands are changing,
son's are changing all they can do is show no
emotion. I rather like this movie.A lot better
than i thought i would. It was creepy and some
of it was rather confusing. Nicole Kidman does
a moving performance and she is a truly good
actress.

Becoming Jane

Anne Hataway is becoming a great actress.
This is the story of the beloved author Jane
Austin. In those days the want them to get
married. She falls for a troubled man who is
not very wealthy. While her parents want her
to marry the Mum's nephew. Strong performances
from everyone especially Julie Walters and ANNE
HATHAWAY. Anne is truly a great actress. This is
her best performance. It's a great movie. A must seen.

Daddy Day Camp

After successful years of daddy day camp
(the squel to 2003's Daddy Day Camp) they decide
to open their own camp. Eddie Murphy and Steve Carr
didn't come back to do this movie. They run into
rival with a different camp across the way. This movie
dragged a bit. I liked it but it was just not a great film
i think it's one you can miss and get on dvd. I think kids
will be bored

Rush Hour 3

Lee and Carter are back on their best
movie yet. Lee and Carter are in vegas
after someone tried to assianate the chinese
abassandor. Along the way they get in trouble.
One cab driver who is their driver steals the
show. They across a beautiful lady who
knows something about the traids. This is the best
Rush Hour yet and i hope that they make another one.
Great action sequences. The scene on the Serus Tower
is pretty good. it is so funny. Not for kids under 11.

Underdog

There's no need to fear Underdog's
Here. Jason lee is the voice of Underdog.
A dog that gets powers and decides to use
them to help save people. But the scientist
wants him to be the one with powers. So he
trys and hunt Underdog down to get his power back.
Wow this suprised me how funny this was. It was so
funny. It was so creative. It had a really good
story line. It was really good family movie one of the
best this summer.

I was dragged to this cheesey chick flick and...
it wasn't that bad. Four freshman are on their way to
a good year at highschool ,they think. But then each
one of them gets stuck with a clinque and the four girls
stop hanging out together and don't be friends anymore.
But then they decide that they can do both. The diva does
everything to make her school the same as it was before them.
It is very stupid and is so unrealstic but it isn't as of
a chick flcik it's a teen movie too. I didn't love it. But it
had a good message and i thought that was important.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anothy star in this film
about the Hector Lavoe the popular salsa dancer.
I don't want to review this as much because i
just didn't like it. It was very uneven and it
was loud. It was very deep. It was just not good.
For now on i'm going to do short reviews on films
i don't like.

Hot Rod

SNL star Andy Sandberg stars as Rod Kimble
our hero of this story. He does stunts to
honor his father. He gets help from his stupid
crew and falls for the girl next door (Isla Fisher)
His step dad beats him up all the time so Rod is
ready to beat him up but then his father falls ill.
So Rod decides to raise money to help his step dad
live so he can kick his butt. He does stunts, birthday
parties and he decides to do a big jump. I wonder how it
would've been if Will Ferrel star as Rod. It would probably be
better and get better box office. but Andy Sandberg is great.
I hope he continues being an actor. All the cool stunts we saw in
the trailer. But it's funny and entertaining. I recommend it.

The Bourne Ultimatum

Best Action Thriller ever! Bourne comes home!
Bourne is still looking for his true identity.
He is having a lot of flash backs from when he got his
name Jason Bourne. He runs into Julia Stiles again and she
helps him a little bit. Joan Allen and David Straithen star
as the FBI and they don't seem to agree with each other. It is a spectular
film. Matt Damon is great. He has become one of the best
actors now. The story was great. I was suprised that i could follow
it. It's very clever. It is suspenful. It's the best action flick this
year and ever.

I love all of these movies. Go see all of them.
Larry and License were really tied. i also saw Sunshine
but i just didn't want to review it i just didn't like it.
