2nd BRANDON Oscars

Here is my list of what would be nominated for the Oscars if i actually was in the Academy...

Best Picture
-Atonement
-Charlie Wilson's War
-Juno
-Sweeney Todd
-Hairspray

AND THE WINNER IS... Juno
My two top movies of 2007 are on here but Juno was amazing. It was funny and smart. It was great and i think it deserves to win. And it has a spirtit in it that is Best Picture worthy. Even though Sweeney Todd and Hairspray are UNBELIVABLE. Juno is Best Picture worthy.

Best Director
-Tim Burton...Sweeney Todd
-Joe Wright...Atonement
-Jason Reitman...Juno
-Adam Shankman...Hairspray
-Denzel Washington...The Great Debaters

AND THE WINNER IS...Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd)
He was perfect to direct this. It was a hard movie to direct and he made it over the top. Without him this movie wouldn't be what it is. This movie was one of my favorites and i know it will always be!

Best Actress
-Helena Boham Carter...Sweeney Todd
-Ellen Page...Juno
-Cate Blanchett... Elizabeth: The Golden Age
-Amy Adams...Enchanted
-Nikki Blonsky...Hairspray

AND THE WINNER IS...Ellen Page(Juno)
I almost made it a tie with her and Carter from Sweney Todd because Carter stole the show for me with her songs and her acting. But Ellen Page beat her out with a nudge. She was born to play that role. She brought it to the top. She was AMAZING. I cant explain it because it was a gut feeling when it was over and i remembered her in this. But Ellen Page was a lock ever since the day i saw the trailer. This movie belongs to her. If it wins Best Picture she should take it home.

Best Actor
-Tom Hanks...Charlie Wilson's War
-Johnny Depp...Sweeney Todd
-Michael Cera...Juno
-Steve Carrel...Dan in Real Life
-James McAvory...Atonement

AND THE WINNER IS...Johnny Depp(Sweeney Todd)
He was a lock for the winner. His voice was amazing. The whole movie he was his character. He went over the top for his character. He was UNBELIVABLE and with all the veterens in the REAL race he should have his chance in the awards. He was this movie and i will remember his acting in this forever and ever!

Best Supporting Actress
-Julia Roberts...Charlie Wilson's Wars
-Michelle Pheiffer...Hairspray
-Jennifer Garner...Juno
-Saoirse Ronan...Atonement
-Leslie Mann...Knocked Up

AND THE WINNER IS...Saoirse Ronan(Atonement)
This is a little girl who is probably 13 and she is wonderful in this movie. Her acting is unbelivable and she is perfect as the role. She plays the role as an adult and i think she will be a famous actress one day! But this movie was great! And she was over the top!

Best Supporting Actor
-Phillip Seymour Hoffan...Charlie Wilson's War
-Edward Sanders...Sweeney Todd
-Alan Rickman...Sweeney Todd
-James Mardsen...Enchanted
-Paul Rudd...Knocked Up

AND THE WINNER IS...Edward Sanders(Sweeney Todd)
I think this year the supporting catergories goes to the little ones. This little kid is amazing! He has a good voice and he goes overboard as the helper in Sweeney Todd. I think Alan Rickman was next in line but for a little kid in this movie as the character is just amazing.

Best Animated Feature
-Bee Movie
-Ratatouille
-The Simpsons Movie

AND THE WINNER IS...Ratatouille
A lock. This was unbelivable. The was creative and the animation was great. Irt had such a story. It was great and nothing could beat it. The best animated feature i've ever seen.

Bravo, Brandon! Excellent choices. :-) I was happy to see "Juno" win Best Picture-- I think that was my favorite movie this year, even though all my friends are ga-ga for "Atonement" (probably because of James MacAvoy!)
