Hairspray

I have waited 8 months for this movie! And it was worth it!!! The best movie this year so far. Tracy Turnblad (The new upcoming actress Nikki Blonsky) is wants to be famous. But her mother Edna (John Travolta) wants her to take over her laundry buisness. And her father Wilbur (Christopher Walken) works at a jokes and toys store. Every single day after school Tracy and her best friend Penny (Amanda Bynes) run home to watch the Corny Collins show (Corny is played by James Mardsen) they dance along
but they drool over the teen Link Larkin (Zac Efron). Velma the runer of the show (Michelle Pheifer) is the mean, pretty director. And her daughter follows right next to her Amber (Brittney Snow). This takes place in 1960's when blacks were still seperated. So every month there is a Negro day which Motermouth hosts ( Queen Latifia). There is so much of a story. It is unbelivable! the best movie i have ever seen!! Now it seems that every musical is my favorite movie but this ones different. Rent, Chicago, and Dreamgirls were great. But this was funny and amazing and had a great story. Everyone in this movie was great and they couldn't of found anyone better to play those roles! So im going to say something about everyone. James Mardsen as Corny was great he has a great voice. Michelle Pheifer as Velma was perfect, she was born to play the role! Brittney Snow was good. Christopher Walken as Wilbur was so funny. he usually freakes me out but not in this. Queen Latifia is just wonderful and was perfect for the role. Eljiah Kelly as Seaweed was just wow! he has an amazing voice. Zac Efron was born to play he understanded then role and was great. Amanda Bynes was perfect. She really understanded the role! amazing. He really looked like a girl. And last but not least this year's Jennifer Hudson, Nikki Blonsky was breathtaking. She was perfect. I loved the chemistry of everyone but especially Amanda Bynes and Elijah Kelly. Should win so many oscars especially best picture, but i doubt it!
